Wimbledon Windmilers - UK Athletics Affiliated - Jogging, Running & Fitness Club - Large membership - 400 plus - old and young- mixed abilities. This means that everyone can find someone of their own standard to run with, from those who just jog two or three miles on a Sunday to those who can complete a marathon in under three hours.

Where can I find you?
Come & join us at 10 o'clock any Sunday Morning for warm up exercises beside the Windmill Car Park, Wimbledon Common, London SW19, followed by an easy run. Ideal for beginners to running. All abilities catered for. All welcome. No initial charge.
What training do you do?
7pm for 7.15pm every Tuesday & Thursday from Wimbledon RFC, Barham Road, usually structured training involving, continuous runs, pace running, speedwork, fartlek and hill work. Hard & easy groups are catered for.
9.45am every Saturday morning - supervised track training at Wimbledon Park Track (fee: £3 per session)
Social runs on Sunday morning lead by qualified coaches, 4-5 km with stops, 10am from the Windmill Car park, Wimbledon Common. Longer runs for longer distance training( typically 11,15 or up to 20 miles) 9,30 am from the Windmill every Sunday. These groups are not lead by our coaches.
Can I turn up or do I have to join first?
Just turn up at any one of our running or training sessions and find out if the Windmilers can satisfy your training needs before, you join the club.
I am only looking to train for the Virgin London Marathon, how will I find others to train with?
Club coaches and officials can always introduce you to runners of similar ability and speed who are training for the Virgin London Marathon. In 2006 we had over 50 runners who were training to participate in the 'London'. We have many members and club coaches who have run in Marathons throughout the World.
