At Tattenhall Runners we pride ourselves on welcoming new members to our club and into the sport we love. Whether a novice or an experienced runner you will receive the same warm welcome from our coaching team who in an initial chat will assess which training group would suit you best based on your current fitness, experience and aims.
We have members who are keenly competitive and very successful racers through to those who’s running is purely a social activity and given the beautiful countryside that we train in who can doubt the pleasure to be had in a relaxed run with your club mates. The club membership truly reflects all types of runners; fast and slow, young and old, male and female, the competitive and the social runner.
Great importance is placed on providing good coaching support to our members. Our coaching team are all experienced runners and are all UK Athletics qualified coaches providing quality advice and support to their runners.
Besides athletic knowledge our team also know every path and trail locally so that they can put together unforgettable off-road training sessions in the nearby countryside.
At Tattenhall we put as much importance in our social activities as to our athletic activity and we are often to be seen at race finishes cheering home every single member of our teams before we all head off to a café or pub for refreshments and to chat. So what can we offer new runners? Everything they might be looking for in their running whatever their ability.
