The Strollers are a friendly group of people who all have a shared interest in running, with a variety of age ranges and running abilities with a good mixture of male and female runners. We have the steady slow runner to the fast runner and those who prefer shorter distances to those who take part in marathons. We also encourage our members to take part in our club events, whether cross country, fell, road, track and field or multi terrain runs. There is a tremendous social atmosphere amongst our members with regular social events and trips abroad to take part in different runs and also enjoy companionship and local culture in a foreign country.
All new members will be made most welcome and encouraged to join us on our training runs throughout the week as well as our normal club night.
We celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2006 with a dinner dance inviting former members to join us and it was good to see some of our founder members again and reminiscing on past times and different runs.
If you enjoy your running and would like company when you are out training don’t hesitate come and join us and you will see that your running improves.
