Stafford Harriers is a friendly, enthusiastic club, with a great balance between all types of runners from fast to slow, old to young (and a children’s section) male and female. We have organised runs 6 days a week ranging in distance - some on road, some on the track - as well as taking advantage of Cannock chase for off road running. We operate a mustering system with a designated back marker so no new member is ever left on their own and there is no pressure to try to keep up with faster runners. There are always a large number of runners entering the London marathon and training schedules to suit all abilities.
Stafford Harriers run in yellow vests with a black stripe and members can be seen running in a wide variety of events locally, nationally and even internationally as we organise regular trips abroad. We are also a very social club with a number of events held throughout the year.

We have the 4 training sessions as mentioned above, which change depending on the time of year, as we introduce more off road running during the summer.
On Monday and Wednesday nights we have use of the track at Rowley Park for those interested in track work or speed sessions.
There is a long run on a Sunday morning.
