Your questions answered!

Where can I find you?

Every Thursday night at 7pm running from:

Sleaford Rugby Football Club
Ruskington Road
Sleaford
Lincolnshire
NG34 8SP

What training do you do?

Club Training Night takes place every Thursday starting and finishing at Sleaford Rugby Football Club, Sleaford meeting for 7.00pm to run at 7.15pm. We have various routes taking you in and around Sleaford with distances approximately 6 miles. There are cut off points to shorten the route should you wish to run less on the night. Depending on the amount of runners who attend will depend on the amount of running groups we will form on the night with no runner left to complete the course on their own.
Speed Training takes place every Tuesday starting at 6.30pm at various locations in Sleaford.
Weekend Runs covering distances of between 6 and 13 miles will be arranged around prominent races on the racing calendar, these will be advertised on Club nights and via the Club's Newsletter and Website.

Can I turn up or do I have to join first?

Yes you can just turn up ready to run although there are changing facilities at the Rugby Club, and showers available after your run if needed. If you are a total beginner you are welcome to email our Club prior to attending should you want further information, full contact details are on the Club website together with details of the weekly 'Club Duty Member'.

I am only looking to train for the Virgin London Marathon, how will I find others to train with?

We have a wealth of distance runners within our Club having run London and many other marathons and distance races. Therefore there is plenty of advice available from our Club qualified UKA coaches and Club members alike.
