We welcome anyone to join us for a run even if you do not want to join the club. There is no pressure to join but as a member you will save money entering races. You could even win club trophies and we also run our own club championship which anyone could win fast or slow.
I am only looking to train for the Virgin London Marathon, how will I find others to train with?
We have 8 members of our club in the 2010 London marathon and they range from very fast 2 to 3Hr marathon pace to about 6 hour marathon pace.
Two of our members have taken part in every London Marathon since the beginning so can give you great advice. We have members who meet up on Sunday morning out of club training. Some train at 7.30am at about 7-8 min mile pace of a long distance. Others train around 9am at a slower pace up to 10 min miles. Slower pace can be arranged.
