Dorking & Mole Valley Athletics Club (DMVAC) welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, whether you are just starting out, returning to running or a seasoned athlete.

The club is based between the North Downs and Surrey Hills and trains regularly in the beautiful countryside that surrounds Dorking including Box Hill, Leith Hill and Ranmore Common.

The club has Junior and Senior sections that train year round, with members taking part in road races, cross-country and track & field events. There is also a growing multi-event group who take part in Duathlons/Triathlons etc.

Beyond the running and athletics, the club also has an active social calendar with monthly dinners and events.

Your questions answered!

Where can I find you?

DMVAC meets every Monday and Thursday @ 7pm at Pixham Lane Sports Ground, Pixham Lane in Dorking.

What training do you do?

The main training sessions are Monday and Thursday evenings with group runs through Dorking and the surrounding countryside. In the summer the Thursday session is on the club’s track at Pixham Lane. At each session three ability based groups allow members to train with others of a similar pace.

In addition to the main sessions the club also runs circuit training sessions and the triathlon group organise weekend cycle rides.

Can I turn up or do I have to join first?

New members are always welcome. Come along to one of the Tuesday or Thursday training sessions for a run and then decide if you would like to join.

I am only looking to train for the Virgin London Marathon, how will I find others to train with?

The club has an active group of marathon runners. You will not be short of like minded runners to train with.
