The Virgin Money London Wheelchair Marathon is one of the country’s most high profile wheelchair races.
How do I enter?
The Virgin Money London Wheelchair race entries will open in October.
The race is run under IPC (International Paralympic Rules) and IAAF rules.
The criteria for entry into the race is:
Must have an IPC classification.
Must be able to finish a marathon in 3 hrs.
Must have a valid Marathon time from the past 2 years of 3 hours or under (you will need to produce documentation to this effect).
Race conditions:
Anyone who does not reach mile 11 in over 1 hour and 15 minutes will be pulled from the race.
Must use an accredited racing wheelchair under IPC rules.
No hand cycles permitted.
